M66 Spontaneous rupture of the synovium and tendon

[localization code see above] Included: tissue tears caused by the application of conventional forces to them, as a result of a reduction in tissue strength. Excluded: rotator compression syndrome ( M75.1 ) traumatic rupture (when excessive force is applied to normal tissues) - see tendon injuries by areas of the body

M67 Other disorders of synovial membranes and tendons

Excluded: palpic fascial fibromatosis of Dupuytren ( M72.0 ) tendonitis of the OBD ( M77.9 ) xanthomatosis localized in the tendons ( E78.2 )

In Russia, the International Classification of Diseases of the 10th revision ( ICD-10 ) was adopted as a single normative document to take into account the incidence, the reasons for the population to address medical facilities of all departments, the causes of death.

ICD-10 was introduced into the practice of health care throughout the RF in 1999 by the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of 27.05.97. №170

The release of the new revision ( ICD-11 ) is planned in 2017.
