Excludes: maternal medical care in connection with the condition of the fetus, amniotic cavity and possible difficulties of delivery ( O30-O48 ) maternal diseases classified in other sections, but complicating pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period (O98-O99)

O20 Bleeding in early pregnancy

Excludes : pregnancy with an abortive outcome ( O00-O08 )

O21 Excessive vomiting of pregnant women

O22 Venous complications during pregnancy

Excludes : obstetric pulmonary embolism ( O88.- ) listed conditions as a complication:. abortion, ectopic or molar pregnancy (O00-O07, O08.7 ). childbirth and the puerperium ( O87.- )

O23 Genitourinary tract infection during pregnancy

O24 Diabetes mellitus during pregnancy

Included: during childbirth and in the postpartum period

O25 Malnutrition during pregnancy

Malnutrition during delivery and in the postpartum period

O26 Maternal care for other conditions related primarily to pregnancy

O28 Abnormalities detected during antenatal examination of the mother

Excludes: results of diagnostic tests, classified in other rubrics, maternal care in connection with the condition of the fetus, amniotic cavity and possible delivery difficulties ( O30-O48 )

O29 Complications of anesthesia during pregnancy

Included: maternal complications caused by general or local anesthesia, the use of painkillers or sedatives during pregnancy. Excluded: complications associated with anesthesia during:. abortion, ectopic or molar pregnancy ( O00-O08 ). labor and delivery ( O74.- ). the postpartum period ( O89.- )

In Russia, the International Classification of Diseases of the 10th revision ( ICD-10 ) was adopted as a single regulatory document for taking into account morbidity, the causes of public appeals to medical institutions of all departments, and causes of death.

ICD-10 was introduced into the practice of healthcare throughout the Russian Federation in 1999 by order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of 05.27.97. No. 170

The release of a new revision ( ICD-11 ) is planned for 2017.
